New Salesfloor Features Focus on Product Recommendations

Salesfloor, a retail technology platform that enables customers to shop online directly with their local store and associate, unveiled important enhancements to its platform. The features help retailers access new data created when associates recommend products to customers, highlight top recommended items by associates to online shoppers, and integrate associates to the online shopping experience with native website integrations.

This Salesfloor release further empowers retailers to drive omnichannel sales with new data and increased flexibility to connect online shoppers with local stores and associates.

Here are the features included in Salesfloor's release:

Associate data cloud
New reporting module added to Salesfloor's Backoffice shows the total number of product recommendations made by associates, as well as customer engagement metrics based on items recommended via live chat, messages and digital storefronts. Associates increase sales with better, more informed product recommendations and retail managers leverage an important new data set for key merchandising and marketing decisions.

Trending recommendations
New section added to Digital Storefronts display the most recommended items by all associates to online shoppers. Trending Recommendations are automatically updated daily on storefronts and displayed in order of popularity. For the first time, retailers can go beyond traditional customer browsing data, ratings and reviews and tap into the collective influence of all store associates and the recommendations they are making to their clients. 

Integrated Salesfloor Connect™
Expanded flexibility for retailers to integrate Salesfloor Connect services on their websites with a variety of new formats. Instead of showing website customers a standard popup to connect with associates for service, retailers add their own native buttons, custom banners or call-to-actions within their website pages. Connecting with local associates through live chat, appointment requests or messaging becomes a more embedded online experience for customers. Recent results show an immediate 50 percent lift in customer engagement.
